About

RUMOURS AND DREAMS

Rumours and Dreams - A Fleetwood Mac Tribute began as a dream of show producer  Pamela McNeill  over 10 years ago. Created from a deep passion for the group's songs that defined the dynamic 70's era, Pamela brought her vision to life with a 9- piece band that includes electric and acoustic guitars, keyboards, bass, drums and even a banjo (for "You Make Loving Fun") with a goal to "recreate the recorded versions in a live setting as faithfully as possible."

What began as a 6 night one off run at Pioneer Place on Fifth Theater in St. Cloud, MN quickly turned into a "must see" event with sold out audiences as word spread, that had theater owners and booking agents throughout the state calling to bring the show to their venues.

Since then Rumours and Dreams has earned the title of "Midwest's Premiere Fleetwood Mac Tribute" - performing in dozens of theaters in the state including, among others, twice annual runs at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres (the largest dinner theater in the country) The Ames Center in Burnsville and The Paramount Center for the Arts in St. Cloud, selling out every date.  They've also headlined many major outdoor festivals for crowds of 20,000 plus!

"The Show"

Rumours and Dreams - A Fleetwood Mac Tribute built their sterling reputation on recreating the classic songs to the "T" in a live setting.  "My concept was never to do a 'look alike' show - (although I do "get my Stevie on" during the show) - but to bring all of those beautiful textures and vocals and layers into the auditorium - somewhat like experiencing the records in 3-D", Pamela says.

Songs like "Sara", "Everywhere", "Say You Love Me" and "Gypsy" contain delicate layers that are seldom recreated live without backing tracks.

"Many of Fleetwood Mac's songs sound deceptively simple, but they're actually quite intricate and "Rumours and Dreams" managed to pull off the fine sonic details..."

The Passion

"Wow! You could feel the energy and joy from every one on stage!"   We hear that all the time! When we perform there is pure JOY on that stage!  Moving people is the goal. Taking people back to a feeling perhaps long since forgotten is just as rewarding for us as it is for our audiences.
